Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union is a valuable, engaged and socially-responsible cooperative with a presence in 21 communities across the state of Minnesota. We value the people, businesses and relationships that exist in our communities, and we work hard each and every day to support them. The credit union gives back in a variety of ways, both through financial advice and products, but also through volunteering, sponsorships and philanthropy.
The Affinity Plus Foundation gives back to communities, as well, through its scholarship and grant programs. The Cultivator Grant awards support educators and unique educational opportunities in Minnesota schools, focused on making a positive impact on Minnesota communities. Examples include educational programming that promotes:
- local citizenship
- community involvement or giveback
- financial education
- ethics & respect
- or other educational programs that align with Affinity Plus’ core values of caring, excellence and integrity
The Cultivator Grant application period is typically open in the month of April of each year, and funds are awarded by Aug. 1. The Affinity Plus Foundation will award $1,000 grants to 10 educators across the state to support the purchase of materials, curriculum or supplies for a new or existing program.
The grant application deadline is Thursday, May 31.
